- Finished and sent Omidyar financial and annual reports
- Enhancing new guidance for project leads on process around planning, bidding, budgeting and producing templates for same
- Discussions with Rufus, Marcus, Jonathan
- Pay run and usual financial bits
- Significant enhancement of financial model for coming period
- Prep and finalising of VAT return
- Discussions around, interviews and review of applications for FOundation Administrator role
- HR issues
- contracts for new contractors
- World Bank proposal preparation and subcontracting considerations; now waiting on info from WB
This week:
- DM2E finances for upcoming report
- SPending stories finances from recent changes, and budget for OKFest attendance
- OKFest attendance / budget
- meet Derek McAuley (Horizon digital economy project)
- OpenBib wrap up / finances questions
- Usual finance, HR, management work
- Review and write up of summit survey (about the summit, and also rerun of some staff survey questions post-summit)
- Scheduling of upcoming board meeting
- Discussions about admin/management work divisions
Subsequent weeks (noted here because some of this work is Important and cannot be postponed much more, making it also Urgent, but not managing to fit it in quite yet. But it will prevent other things from happening in coming weeks!)
- Finish financial model & use it to flesh out possibilities (overdue)
- GCloud set up ( we are lucky that the deadlines were extended)
- Strategy!
- Audit preparation
- New contracts for all following new contract form; role descriptions etc
- Cookies (pending new foundation admin)
