OKFest

• Promo of Travel Bursary deadline extension (using blog post published on OKF here).
• Lots of work on OKFestival website: adding high profile guests to Featured Speakers page, changing ticket forms + links, updating Topic Stream pages, adding new pages, fixing cache problems.
• Reminders to OKF staff and free ticket recipients that comp ticket deadline was August 10th
• Worked towards finalising Topic Stream sessions for online schedule, had more meetings re pages / statuses for each
• More finalisation of high profile keynotes/featured speakers and of morning plenary schedule for festival week
• Helping the less active Topic Streams finalise speakers/schedule
• Submitted monthly report to board with festival summaries

• More intros (and postponement of future steps until fall) of incoming regional group proposals
• Submitted monthly report re: Regional Groups and Chapters

OKFest

• Today: decide 2nd round Travel Bursary recipients (we got 200+ applicants from both rounds!!!) with the Core OKFest Organisers in Finland and liase with the Sida development practitioner fund in Norway
• Other meetings during Core OKFest Organisers Sprint (happening this week in Helsinki)
• Make sure all sessions/hackathons/events finalised with summaries for Topic Stream pages and for release of interactive online schedule on website
• Last bits of invited + Featured Speakers and morning INSPIRE plenary scheduling
• Meetings re catching up OKF community team on OKFest

Local Chapters / Regional Groups

• Finish setting up tools for Romania w further discussion re Eastern Europe blog
• Update Regional Groups + Chapters page with updates re: postponement of this process until after OKFest > http://okfn.org/chapters/
